Everyday I am learning and growing and I couldn’t be more thankful to my team and the youth we see everyday who make me a better person. The experiences here have taught me so much about myself, my profession and the impact I can have on my community. I absolutely love working with youth and watching them grow through program has been the opportunity of a lifetime! Bonjour! My name is Chris. What's good? I started at EYC as a placement student and it was a good opportunity to work with youth and alongside other trained professionals. I gained a lot of confidence as a placement student which helped me grow in the field and shaped the person I am today. Being a kid from Brampton that didn't have a lot of opportunities, I feel like now the chances that I am receiving I am able to give back to the community and reshape the youth of tomorrow, who will become model citizens of the future.
Hey Y'all! I'm Pratham! I am the Ardglen Program Facilitator and I have been with the EYC team since May of 2022. During my placement, I learned how to work with youth, listen to their needs and address their concerns. The team was extremely helpful during the learning process and taught me how to collaborate and create events that are inviting and fun! My favourite part about EYC is the openness and freedom to be myself. I truly feel like EYC lets me be who I am, as I am. With that being said, I cannot wait to see you all in our spaces! Cheers!
